ITINERARY

Day 1: Hometown – Vancouver/Seattle

Meet and greet with First Express representative upon arrival. Guests arriving in Vancouver / Seattle airport before 12:00pm will enjoy a free short city tour in Vancouver / Seattle before being transferred back to Vancouver respectively. Check-in at your hotel, leisure time is at night.

Day 2: Vancouver – Kamloops – Wells Gray Provincial Park – Valemount

Depart from Vancouver in the morning and drive through the beautiful Fraser Valley, reach a semi-desert area and stop in Merritt. In Kamloops the tour starts until lunch. Visit to the popular ginseng field, and arrange production factory. Ginseng tea can be sampled and various ginseng items shoped. We’re going to Wells Gray Park later today, visiting the Clear Water Visitor Centre, and staying overnight at Valemount.

Day 3: Valemount – Jasper – Columbia Icefield – Bowls Lake – Calgary

Today we are going to fly to Jasper-the commercial hub of Jasper National Park is an alpine town in the province of Alberta in Canada. After a short break the tour continues to Columbia Icefield (Optional)-this Athabasca Glacier is one of the most spectacular and interesting sights of the Canadian Rockies, covering some 230 sq. km (89 sq. ml) at a depth of 365 m (1,200 ft. and some 28 km (17 ml) wide, draped over a continental divide along the Alberta-BC border on a high alpine plateau. Travel to Bowls Lake late afternoon, before returning to Calgary. Arrive at your hotel and sign in, the remainder of the evening is at leisure time.

Day 4: Calgary – Horseshoe Canyon – Drumhella – Royal Tyrrell Museum – Bowls Fall – Banf

Early morning departure for Horseshoe Canyon-a area of badlands in the province of Alberta surrounded by prairie. The canyon gets its name from its horseshoe shape, formed by the flow into the Kneehill Creek, a Red Deer River tributary, in two coulees.

Continue to Drumhella-the capital Dinosaur world, visit the Royal Tyrrell Museum (Optional)-since 1985, through its collection of thousands of skeletons and hundreds of fossils, it has been showing the fascinating evolution of dinosaurs. We fly to Banff in late afternoon with a visit to Bowls Fall before checking in at the hotel. Evening out at leisure.

Day 5: Banff – Moraine Lake – Lake Louise – Lake Louise Gondola – Yoho National Park – Rogers Pass – Salmon Arm

Departure hotel for Moraine Lake-a glacially fed lake in Banff National Park, this magnificent lake nestled in the mountains is best known for its presence at the back of the twenty dollar Canadian bill. Late in the morning, visit the famous Lake Louise, also known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake with high peaks and a beautiful chateau overlooked.

The tour will continue for an optional gondola trip up to Lake Louise Ski Resort. After lunch we’ll ride through Rogers Pass with stop at “Last Spike”- it marked the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway, powered through under engineer James Ross, and remains a symbol of Canada’s national unity. Arrive in Salmon Arm late in the evening and check into the hotel.

Day 6: Salmon Arm – Kelowna – VQA Winery – Merritt – Vancouver

The word Kelowna derives from an Okanagan language term for “grizzly bear” after breakfast travel to the City of Kelowna – the seventh largest city in the province of British Columbia. We’re going to drive by Okanagan Lake-where the legendary lake monster Ogopogo said these waters were inhabited. Free wine degustation is arranged at one of the area’s popular VQA wineries. Lunch is enrouted at Merritt later in the day, before heading to Vancouver.

Day 7: One Option from Vancouver / Victoria / Whistler Day Tour

(A) Vancouver One Day City Tour The city tour starts in Vancouver with a visit to the popular Capilano Suspension Bridge Park (Optional). The bridge hangs 70 meters over a river where you can find ancient pine trees, while at the same time you can walk along the Cliff Walk that takes you through the vegetation of the rainforest on a series of unobtrusive cantilevered and suspended paths that jut from the granite cliff facing Capilano River to previously unexplored park areas. Our next stop is Stanley Park which covers 1,000 acres of forest and numerous First Nations craved totem poles.

We will move to Chinatown and Gastown, which is popular in Victorian buildings for its whistling Steam Clock and mix of souvenir shops, independent art galleries, and decor stores. Next to Gastown is Canada Place, home of Vancouver Convention Centre, Pan Pacific Hotel, Vancouver World Trade Centre, Cruise Ship Terminal and FlyOver Canada (Optional) virtual flight trip. You’ll have me to explore the city with 2010 Olympic Cauldron, and visit nearby Vancouver Winter Olympic Park. Our last stop is at Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver’s highest point where you can enjoy stunning views over the Park and downtown Vancouver.

(B) Victoria One Day Tour (admission includes B.C. Ferries & Butchart Garden) In the morning, depart from Tsawwassen with BC Ferries across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. You can enjoy beautiful scenery along Georgia Strait Coast during the journey. On arrival at Vancouver Island we visit the centuries-old Butchart Gardens first. The Garden covers a 50 acre field of theme garden numbers planted with all kinds of flowers, begonia kiosks, and Sunken Garden. The most thrilling district is Sunken Garden, originally a nest-shaped trap lime quarry turned into a garden lined with vibrant flowers and ingenuous plants. The Concert Lawn, Rose Garden, Three Sturgeon Fountain, Japanese Garden, and Italian Garden are another theme gardens.

Then tour continues to the Victoria Chinatown; first stop at the Fan Tan Alley’s narrowest shopping street in Canada, for an appreciation of Chinese growth history in Canada. After lunch, first visit the tourist area of Old British Style Inner Harbor, the BC Legislature Building, or the Royal BC Museum (optional), the Centennial Square, or the delicious fish & chip fisherman’s wharf, or the iconic Empress Hotel. And proceed to Beacon Hill Park with a stop at Mile Zero, the TransCanada Highway 1 starting point. BC Ferries return to Vancouver late afternoon and move back to your hotel.

(C) Whistler One Day Tour departs from Horseshoe Bay to Whistler on the Sea-to-Sky Highway winding along the coastline. Enjoy the breathtaking views over Georgia Strait and Sunshine Coast, one side by the sea and the other side by the mountain. The resort of Whistler is a Swiss-setting alpine resort where you can enjoy shopping in European style and world-class dinning.

Take a spin on the Peak-2-Peak Gondola (Optional)-a tri-cable gondola lift at Whistler Blackcomb Resort, connecting the Roundhouse Lodge at Whistler Mountain with the Rendezvous Lodge at Blackcomb Mountain. It is the first lift to reach the mountains on both sides. This holds the world record for the longest free range between the Whistler Mountains and Blackcomb. In late afternoon, return to Vancouver and move back to the hotel.

Day 9: Vancouver – Hometown

The tour ends on this day. A free hotel shuttle service can carry customers to Vancouver Airport. A pre-arranged coach can carry customers to Seattle Sea-Tac Airport.
