Day 2: MEET THE CHARMING CAPITAL OF VIETNAM

The pick-up starts between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m.

At 08:00 AM, our tour guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby for a full day of exploring the charming capital of Vietnam. Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone, with its large tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes, and ancient oriental pagodas.

Your city tour will take you to the main sites of Hanoi: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Mausoleum and Stilt House of Ho Chi Minh); the Presidential Palace; the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Literature Temple; West Lake; the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the museums of the city (a option between the Museum of History and the Museum of Ethnology).

Day 3: EXPLORE A LOST WORLD IN HOA LU – TAM COC – NINH BINH

A pick-up in your hotel lobby at 8:30 am. You leave Hanoi and travel south along Highway One or the former Road Mandarin for a 2-hour drive. You spend an hour visiting the temples of Dinh and Le in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital, and then you go to Van Long for lunch.

For a 2-hour boat trip along the Van Long Canal, you could also enjoy an optional oxcart ride to Van Long Wharf. Along the way, before returning to Hanoi at 6:00 pm, you can see caves, green rice fields, limestone mountains, and the rural life of the locals.

Day 4: EXCURSION TO THE NATURAL WONDER OF THE WORLD

Check out of the hotel in the morning and have the boat picked up. Take the most scenic route to Halong Bay, with emerald green rice paddies reaching as far as your eyes can see, across the Red River Delta. You get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay upon arrival at Halong to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.

After your discovery of the bay is over, it is time to enjoy an absolutely delicious lunch of seafood. Then go to Ha Long Bay‘s famous limestone cave, where you can spend some time kayaking or swimming, so you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. You will return to the boat in the evening for an early dinner, followed by a quick leisure break. You may choose to attend boat events or rest for the day.

Day 5: MORNING IN THE MOST FAMOUS BAY – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY

Get up early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat returns to the port and stops at the Limestone Cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. It’s clear from here to sail back to the main harbor and then back to Hanoi around 17:00. For your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, called the Gem of Indochina by Sai Gon, go straight to the airport.

Day 6: SAILING THROUGH MEKONG DELTA

The Mekong Delta Gateway Day Trip begins at 8:00 am with a drive to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang Province, 72 km from Ho Chi Minh City (former Saigon) from the lobby of a guest hotel in Saigon. Guests will take time to visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, the province’s most beautiful pagoda with a blend of several types of structure.

Take a boat ride to four lovely islets: the Lion, the Unicorn, the Phoenix, and the Tortoise. Near the Mekong River, these evergreen islands remain unknown to many people. Along the river, you can discover beautiful landscapes and experience the typical rural Mekong delta life.

Upon request for unique visits or pictures, stops on the way may be made. Visit a traditional village house at Quoi An (all made from coconut). See the coconut collection set and how locals make trunk and shell handicrafts. Guests will see that coconut is also useful for weddings and funerals, so they waste nothing.

Enjoy the fruits of the season and listen to traditional songs. On the village road, take a horse cart and rest at Ben Truc orchard. Honey with tea or Mekong whisky to taste (they have a funny rule to bring guests in). On the palm creek, take a rowing boat. Visit the coconut candy mill (Ben Tre Province Special Product). Before you come back to Saigon, enjoy a great lunch at a nearby restaurant.

In Ho Chi Minh City overnight.

Day 7: BIGGEST FAREWELL AND WARMEST THANK YOU – HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE

You will have leisure time planned by yourself for the last walking, cycling, buying souvenirs or handicraft items, or having coffee like a local for the last time depending on your travel time before we drive you to the airport for your travel.
