Leaving the dazzling Las Vegas lights behind us for a bit, we’re heading out to the finest national park in Utah, Zion. Large walls of canyons and red cliffs of sandstone rise into a bright blue sky. Challenge yourself by hiking a narrow ridge line to Angels Landing for what’s considered the best half-day hike in the Southwest.
Explore the pristine Emerald pools quickly or enjoy a river walk deep in the narrows before enjoying a BBQ back in the evening at camp.
Today, a short drive brings us to Bryce National Park at an elevation of 8,000 feet. Take a walk along the rim and marvel at the unusual spires of sandstone, or hoodoos, dramatically rising from the natural amphitheater. For an up close and personal view of this fascinating landscape, hike down into the hoodoos.
A soak back at camp in the outdoor hot tub will relax those hiking muscles and this day will end nicely with a night around the campfire.
Explore this beautiful landscape on one of our optional canyoneering adventures in a guided sunset hummer tour or hang of a sandstone cliff! Visit the Arches National Park for a hike to the Delicate Arch, home to over 2000 arches.
Enjoy walks in the Canyonlands National Park, where the Green River meets the Colorado in some of the Southwest’s most stunning landscapes. Swap tales of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, who used the canyons in the late 1800’s to hide from the law, visit the local city and experience the greatest adventure capital of Utah.
We continued south through more of the beautiful scenery of USA Southwest to one of the most famous locations on the planet. You’re in for a real treat today, the backdrop to many popular Western movies and home to the Navajo Indians. Hop on a 4X4 Jeep and enjoy an inclusive Monument Valley guided Navajo tour. Camp right around the rim, get ready to gaze up at the amazing starry sky and get a spectacular sunrise from your front row place.
We will follow the mighty Colorado River through the Painted Desert to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World after a brief visit to a Navajo trading post!
On an optional helicopter ride, take in a bird’s eye view, walk along the rim at sunset, climb through one of the deepest and most diverse canyons on earth or simply relax in one of the rim cafes to enjoy the view before one last cookout and campfire.
We get our kicks on Route 66 and have plenty of time to chill by the pool back in Sin City.
