Itinerary
You will be provided a free transfer from airport to the local hotel. Our driver will wait for you by holding a name baord at the exit and send you to the hotel to check in. The rest of the day will be free for your own exploration.
We’ll begin our amazing China tour package after breakfast as you meet your tour guide at a pre-confirmed time and head out on a fantastic Beijing tour.
Next, we’re going to visit Changling, one of the Thirteen Ming Tombs. Changling is the tomb of Zhu Di and his Empress Xu, the 2nd Ming Dynasty Emperor. It is considered to be the greatest one in Beijing among the 13 Ming Tombs.
You will be escorted to Mutianyu Great Wall after a Chinese-style lunch, which is 73 km from Beijing city area and the drive will last around 1 hour. This will be a pleasant opportunity to see the Chinese capital’s urban and suburban scenery. The most scenic portion of the Chinese Great Wall is the Mutianyu Great Wall. It was constructed in 1368 at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty and extends to 5400 meters.
The vegetation covers 90 percent of the Mutianyu. So this portion of the Great Wall will treat tourists with its unique scenery every season. The time to visit the Great Wall will be 2 hours or so. If hiking is too much for you, there’s an optional cable car available. You will also stop at the Jade Carving Factory during today ‘s tour to learn about Chinese jade culture and enjoy some exquisite jade artworks. To learn about some history of tea drinking as well as the Chinese Tea Market and you might optionally try some kinds of the best Chinese tea. You will be moved back to your downtown hotel at about 5:00 pm, after all the events.
Depending on your own interest (you own cost / paid on site), Peking Duck dinner or Chinese Kung Fu Show is optional in the evening.
In the morning, our guide will meet you at a pre-confirmed time for the Yoru Beijing City Tour in the hotel lobby.
The first stop is Tian’anmen Square, the world’s largest downtown square, and the site of New China’s founding ceremony on Oct 1st, 1949. You will arrive at the entrance to the Forbidden City from here, which used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Forbidden City is listed among the top five palaces in the world as the world’s largest and best-preserved structured wooden palace complex.
We will then pay a brief visit to the Silk Market and return to the Temple of Heaven. It’s a place where emperors went to pray for heaven and pray for agricultural harvest on a set day every year. There are a few other buildings constructed surrounding the Temple of Heaven to prepare things required for worship and prayer.
You’ll then enjoy lunch and pay a quick visit to the Pearl Store.
We’ll continue the Summer Palace tour after that. In China, it is the largest current imperial garden. You will be escorted to the train station for the overnight train to Xian, finishing the tour here.
Our guide or driver will meet you at the train station upon your arrival, and then launch the group tour directly to the Terracotta Warriors Factory and the Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses.
Renowned as the eighth wonder of the world, the Terracotta Warriors impress you with thousands of real-sized figures of troops, generals, and horses.
You’ll go to the Banpo Museum after lunch. It’s a tribal residential ruin dating back 6000 years. Here you will witness the principal tribe ‘s housing ruins, daily-use posts, production equipment, burial method, and art information.
You will be escorted back to the hotel after an all-day tour.
Dumpling dinner and the Tang Dynasty Show are optional in the evening depending on your own interest (you own on-site cost / paid).
Our tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby in the morning, at a pre-confirmed time.
We will travel to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda to begin our day. The entire scenic area looks like an ancient Chinese garden, and next to the Pagoda, you will also have the chance to visit the Xian Museum.
We will then travel to the Large Wild Goose Pagoda to visit North Square. Walking along the square, you can find that all the buildings are designed in the style of Tang Dynasty architecture.
We’ll go to the 600-year-old City Wall after lunch. It was established as a military defensive system in the Ming Dynasty, but today it circles around the inner city of Xian. You can rent a bicycle here and enjoy a scenic ride around the wall (own rate, optional).
The last stops are the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square, and the Muslim Quarter, where you can see the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower and enjoy a range of local snacks.
Finally, to catch a flight to Shanghai, you will be moved to Xian airport. By holding a sign with your name on it, our Shanghai driver will wait for you at the airport and then you will be dropped off at your hotel. Take a nice rest this evening.
Our local guide will be waiting for you in your hotel lobby in the morning, keeping a welcome board that says your name and beginning the tour.
We’ll launch our Shanghai tour on Old Street in Shanghai, where you’ll find a taste of Old Shanghai in the 1920s. You will come to Yuyuan Garden walking along the path, which was once a private garden of the Pan family and is open to the public after the establishment of a new China.
Next, you will be escorted to the Bund, where the best scenery of ancient and modern Shanghai can be seen.
We will visit one of Shanhgai’s most charming areas after lunch, Tianzifang, a mix of ancient and modern architecture, food, art , and music.
The final stop would be the Old French Concession, which used to be one of Shanghai’s two largest concessions.
You’ll eventually be escorted back to the hotel.
It’s open for recreation or last-minute shopping today. You can choose to do it at your own pace.
