Day 1 :

In the arrivals hall at the Jorge Chavez International Airport, a local staff member will be waiting for you from where they will transport you to your hotel. Any questions that you have will be addressed and your assistant will update you on your itinerary. To prepare for the exciting journey ahead, you will have the rest of the evening.

Day 2 :

After breakfast, a free day or an optional full city tour of modern and colonial Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991. A tour with a bilingual guide on an air-conditioned bus. A visit to the Cathedral, Main Plaza, the San Francisco Convent and its Catacombs, and the San Isidro and Miraflores residential areas are included in the tour. Going back to your hotel. Evening for free.

Flight to Cuzco after breakfast, reception and move to your hotel. Free day for rest and acclimatization to the altitude.

A full-day travel to Urubamba, the Inca Sacred Valley. Visit the village of Pisac, founded during the Colonial era. The Indians trade their goods on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and craftsmen from all over the region sell their woven alpaca wool blankets and ponchos, engraved gourds, antique reproductions, and jewelry. It is also the meeting point on Sundays for the local mayors of the city, dressed in traditional costumes, to attend the morning mass. A visit to Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town still occupied, after a buffet lunch on your own. Up above Ollantaytambo, visit the ruins.

You can fly by train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes.

You will be moved to your hotel upon arrival.

Early in the morning, you will be transported by bus to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu after a delicious breakfast.

With an English speaking guide, you will have a special tour of the ruins. Your guide will teach you the history of the Incas, the hypotheses of this incredible culture's origins. No matter how many photographs you've seen of Machupicchu, it's not going to fail to amaze you to see in person.

This is one of the few areas that the Spanish did not pillage and conquer. Since they have been unable to locate it. High up on the lofty mountain in the lush cloud forest, the perfect craftsmanship of the stonework, the winding cobblestone streets and magnificent temples, all surrounded by a dramatic terraced mountain landscape with lush green cover, will take you back to the time of the Incas.

After you have completed this awesome location, you will be taken back down to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Ollantaytambo, then you will be transported to your cozy hotel in Cusco in your car.

Day 6 :

Optionally, you can take a horse riding tour, a Cusco city tour or simply enjoy it at your leisure. Free day in Cusco to explore the city.
