Itinerary

Day 1 :
Cusco

Hey, welcome to Cusco!

Arrival in Cusco, airport meeting and greeting, move to your hotel.

In the afternoon, with a visit to San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy its panoramic view of the area, we will launch our exclusive Cusco tour. We will then visit the San Pedro Market to soak up its local flavors and learn more about the products produced in the region that supply the entire city.

After this, in all its magnificence, the Korikancha temple will welcome us; this temple, whose Quechua name means "Gold Enclosure," still bewitches us with the thought of its walls paved with gold. Then it is your turn to visit the Church of Santo Domingo.

We're going to walk from the artisans' neighborhood of San Blas to Hatun Rumiyoc Lane, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace, now the home of the Archbishop's Palace, and the famous Twelve Angle Stone. We will continue to visit the Cathedral and its precious and elegant colonial masterpieces on our walk to Main Square.

Day 2 :
Cusco

We will separate ourselves from the crowds in the morning and visit Sacsayhuaman, a massive and imposing fortress of monumental buildings surrounded by breathtaking views that blend perfectly together. At the Qenqo Inca Shrine, our journey continues to see the sacrificial altar embedded within a rock cave. Finally, we can reach the perspective of Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, a monument of remarkable architectural experience considered to be one of the foundations of the vision of the Andean Cosmos. Cusco overnight stay. VIPAC proposes: A visit to the South Valley of Cusco. Where we can discover Tipon 's spectacular archaeological site. Then we will visit the picturesque town of Huaro, where we will find the fantastic church of the 16th century and the incredible murals painted by Tadeo Escalante, the great artist.

We will be greeted today by the Sacred Valley of the Inca. We will visit Awanacancha, a tourist complex where the Andean camelids, such as llamas and alpacas, will be seen and fed, and where the locals will teach us the techniques of weaving and dyeing their traditional textiles. We will then proceed to Inca and Pisac Colonial. Discover one of the Sacred Valley's most spectacular archaeological sites at the top of the mountain, with views of the colonial city of Pisac.

Colonial Town Walking Tour. Time for the art market to do some shopping. Then, we'll go to the beautiful Inkariy Museum. We'll enjoy a tasty lunch here. We will take a guided museum tour to learn more about the various rooms where cultural depictions of ancient Peru's pre-Hispanic civilizations are displayed. In the Holy Valley overnight.

Our adventure journey now takes us to the less-explored treasures of the Inca Sacred Valley. First stop: Moray, thanks to its colossal concentric terraces resembling a coliseum, a location with spectacular views. What have they been using it for? 20 different forms of microclimates were recreated by the terraces, and they were studied to ensure the empire's agricultural production. We will begin our journey to the thousand-year - old colonial salt mines of Maras.

So stunning is the comparison of the white pools with the green valley that it resembles a postcard. Lunch buffet. We will head towards the Ollantaytambo archaeological complex in the afternoon, where you will see the technique with which the Incas work the stone. Now is the time to catch a train at the station in Ollantaytambo. We will arrive in Aguas Calientes, where our qualified staff will welcome us and help us stay in one of the hotels in Aguas Calientes (now Machu Picchu Town)

With a stunning view of the Urubamba River and its gorge, we'll board the bus to go up the winding path to Machu Picchu. With its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas, the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us. Everything around us is electricity. We will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area following a guided tour. We will return to Cusco at the agreed time and be moved to the hotel. Cusco overnight.
