For an up-close look at authentic Dutch windmills, we will take an exciting day trip to Zaanse Schans on Day 2, followed by a visit to Volendam, a picturesque fishing village. We can take a short boat ride from Volendam to Marken, an island that has been connected to the mainland by a fixed dike.

With transfers to Rembrandtplein, one of Amsterdam ‘s main squares, with a large range of local and exotic dishes (own cost), we will put the final touches on our authentic Dutch experience.
Say goodbye to Amstedam as we reach Germany across the border. We’ll stop in Hamelin along the way, setting up the famous Pied Piper story.
We’ll arrive at our destination in the late afternoon: Berlin, one of Germany’s most popular cities. Before we go back to the hotel, we will spend the evening in the vibrant Jewish Quarter and have dinner (at our own expense).

First of all, we will visit the historic center: the Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and the beautiful city parks, accompanied by a visit to the Holocaust Memorial and the Museum of the Berlin Wall.
You’ll have free time to experiment on your own after that. In the evening, we will take you for dinner in the lively area of Kantstrasse (own expense).
