The City Wall of Xi’an (Chengqiang)

The City Wall is where the adventure begins. When you stand on the wall, you will have a panoramic view of the old city area. Locals may be seen conducting recreational activities at its foot in the meantime. You can rent a bike to enjoy riding on the wall, but the rental charge is your responsibility. You will then be escorted back to your hotel.

Day 2: Tour of the Terracotta Warriors

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum in Qin

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which was erected for the First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty over 2200 years ago, is the first site on today’s tour. It is widely regarded as the “eighth wonder of the world” both at home and abroad.

Terracotta Warriors and Banpo Neolithic Village from Xi’an

There are numerous uncovered pottery figurines, bronze chariots, and horses to be found here. Your tour guide will provide you with the most in-depth explanation of their backgrounds. Through this journey, it is hoped that you will gain a better knowledge of China’s first emperor.

Great Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta)

Then see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014. It was once employed by Xuanzang, a prominent Tang Dynasty monk, to transcribe Sanskrit sutras into Chinese. As a result, Buddhists revere it as one of their holiest sites. Your tour guide can tell you about the pagoda’s unique architectural style as well as its legend.

Mosque of Xi’an

The Great Mosque is one of China’s most well-preserved Islamic mosques. It was built in 742 during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), as a result of intercultural exchange and integration. In the Great Mosque, you will see not only Chinese classical architectural style, but also authentic Muslim character.

Muslims Quarter

After that, go to the Muslim Quarter, which is home to almost 20,000 Muslims. Snacks and halal foods are available in a variety of flavors. In the meantime, this street has a lot of artisan souvenirs for sale. Following that, you will visit a local family, where you will get the opportunity to interact with them and share a meal with them in order to gain a better understanding of Chinese culture.
