Itinerary
Day 1
Las Vegas – Page
Before we enter the South Bank of the “One of the 7 Wonders of the World” Grand Canyon, we start the day heading South East through the desert and the Navajo Indian reservation. Tour the south bank and learn how the Colorado River cut its way down to the sea over the years and created a wonderland for geologists.
We continue along the Canyon East after lunch, stopping at some of the many places on the Indian market to browse the handmade arts and crafts.
Day 2
Page – Kanab/Cedar City
We leave for Lake Powell, considered one of America’s most beautiful lakes, enjoy a boat ride on the water after breakfast and see the hundreds of private coves and the famous salt pillars and famous sand arches that are unique to the region. We’ll head west to Bryce Canyon after the cruise, home to the world’s most impressive natural sculptures.
Our tour will take us to see wonderful creations of rock and sand honed to perfection over thousands of years of rain and sunshine. Experience the unique change of colors from one of the viewpoints in the park during sunset (may change due to changing sunset times).
We will head towards the town of Kanab after the tour.
Day 3
Kanab/Cedar City (during select tours) – Las Vegas
We’re going to Zion Park after breakfast.
The park received its name from the Mormon people who settled in the area. After saying that visiting the park is like a religious experience, the beauty of the mountains and the silence of the wilderness made you feel like you were transported to another world, they gave it this name.
Before leaving this incredible area for an early evening arrival in Las Vegas, visit the park and enjoy a short walking trail along the Virgin River that runs through the park.
