Day 1
Paris - Versailles - Paris

We will start our Paris adventure with a drive to the Place de la Concorde along the famous Champs Elysees, which played a key role in one of the darkest chapters of the French Revolution. You’ll see the iconic Arc de Triomphe as well. Next we will go to L’Hotel National des Invalides, which houses the tomb of Napoleon and several other monuments related to France’s military history.

Next we will travel by coach through the suburbs of Paris to the magnificent Versailles Palace, the royal family’s residence until the beginning of the 1789 revolution. In the evening we’re going to return to Paris. You might want to take advantage of the optional cruise along the Seine River after dinner.

Day 2

The second day of our experience in Paris starts with a visit to the Louvre, the art museum’s great dame. Here you’ll look at some of the Western world’s most valued masterpieces, including Venus de Milo, Samothrace’s Winged Victory, and Mona Lisa.
