Combine two of Melbourne's best day trips into a great Australia tour package and get a FREE Melbourne Attraction Card!

One of Australia's most popular destinations is the magnificent Great Ocean Way. Our small group eco-tour offers views of uninterrupted beaches, dramatic coastlines and lush rainforest. We must travel west to the start of the Great Ocean Road, passing Lorne and Apollo Bay coastal towns, eventually arriving at the famous Cape Otway Lighthouse, the oldest surviving lighthouse on the mainland.

We will treat you to an Aussie BBQ lunch after enjoying breathtaking views over the Southern Ocean and the Bass Strait. Then we go on to the Shipwreck Coast, strolling along storied beaches and seeing the Loch Ard Gorge. When we arrive at the Twelve Apostles, we must descend the Steps of Gibson to a position dwarfed by the majestic stacks of limestone. There is plenty of room within a small group to get out and see nature at its finest.

We usually return around 8:30pm to Melbourne. Climate and/or traffic conditions can however cause a slight delay.

Sunset Tour] If you choose the Sunset Tour option, we will follow the same route along the Great Ocean Road but will have the opportunity to see the sunset over the 12 Apostles, a must-see experience! Instead of an Aussie BBQ, you'll even enjoy a lunch in cafe style.

** The Sunset Tour departs at 10:00am (April-September) or 11:00am (October-March) and returns at 22:00pm and 11:00pm respectively.

Melbourne Attraction Pass Visit two major attractions in Melbourne: the Melbourne Aquarium and the Eureka Skydeck 88. The pass allows single entry to each attraction and is valid from the date of selection for three months.

Melbourne Aquarium-Open daily from 9:30am to 6:00pm Visit the Melbourne Aquarium, where something new is always to be seen. Australia's largest aquarium offers a glimpse of the incredible and diverse world of aquatic animals, including sandbar whaler sharks, black nurse sharks, Port Jackson sharks, king penguins, gentoo penguins, freshwater sawfish, smooth stingrays, green sea turtles and big-beautiful seamans.

Eureka Skydeck 88-Open daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm Visit the newest attraction in Melbourne providing breathtaking views of Melbourne and the surrounding area. Venture to the top of the Eureka Tower on the banks of the Yarra River to take in Melbourne's 360 degree floor-to-ceiling views.

On the journey to Phillip Island, we will get closer and more intimate to the welcoming residents of Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where we will hear about the conservation of these lovely native animals. There are also some lesser known but equally cute endangered species in the eco-certified sanctuary, including the Southern Bettong, Eastern Quoll and the rare Fluffy Glider.

Next we will visit the historic island of Churchill and see how sheep shearing is made. Then it's off to the Koala Conservation Centre, where in their natural environment we'll see koalas.

We'll also take a stroll along the boardwalk at Nobbies Center before arriving for the regular penguin parade at Summerland Beach. Home to the largest penguin colony in Victoria, Summerland Beach provides a spectacular backdrop to the world-famous pinguin parade. Watch as hundreds of tiny penguins cross the beach and go home for the night.

Our tour departs from the provider's office seasonally from 10 am to 11am (daylight savings) and returns seasonally between around 9.30pm & midnight (daylight savings).
