2.5-Hour White House and Washington Monument Walking Tour
The Washington Monument dominates the skyline of the Nation’s Capitol and is the main focal point of the National Mall. With an unbeatable view of the city and an incredible history to match, it’s no wonder it’s one of the toughest tickets in town. Tickets sell out months in advance and lines at the base can be hours long with no guarantee for entry. But, with our White House and Washington Monument Walk, we’ll take you up to the very top to take in the world-famous view with our reserved access.
We’ll start our tour at one of the most iconic and well-known sites in the world: the White House. From outside the house, your guide will tell you about the incredible history of the people’s house and its historic residents.
Nearby, we’ll take in the history and urban legends surrounding the White House. On the way to the Washington Monument, we’ll share stories of hauntings, assassinations, murder, and scandal around Lafayette Park as well as the history of the President’s guest house, and a building that prevented the Capitol City from moving west.
