Attraction: Palm Jumeirah
The Palm Jumeirah is a man-made, palm-tree shaped archipelago located in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. It was created using land reclamation by Nakheel, which extends into the Persian Gulf. Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira are only two of a series of developments known as the Palm Islands. Once completed, the entire Palm Islands group will be 520 kilometers in length, boosting Dubai’s shoreline by a total of 500 kilometers (320 mi). It is estimated that the population was around 10,500 as of 2016.
The area where the hotel is located is located on the Jumeirah coastal area of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The construction was done through a joint venture involving two Dutch specialist companies, Van Oord and Boskalis. Similarly, the same corporations were also responsible for the creation of The World. The most recent developments to The Palm Jumeirah are the newest club resort, marina, and mall in the area: Club Vista Mare, Marina Bay, and Nakheel Mall.]
