Kaikoura

The coastal town of Kaikoura is located on the South Island of New Zealand. Due to the abundance of wildlife and sperm whales, it’s known as a top destination for naturalists. The walkway that winds through the Kaikoura Peninsula from the town centre to lookouts is called the Kaikoura Peninsula Walkway. A colony of New Zealand fur seals, which are the only breed of seals living in New Zealand, can be found on the nearby rock platforms.
