Haukadalur Valley

Haukadalur Valley is a popular South Iceland stopping point on the Golden Circle route due to its hot springs. Lake Laugarvatn is nestled in a mountain range that marks the northern border of Iceland. The lake is famous for its hot springs, fumaroles, mud pots, and geysers, including the world-famous Great Geysir and the constantly erupting Strokkur.
