How to get there

With a ticket, you can go by elevator to the 88th floor, where you can visit Skydeck and enjoy the view.

The Eureka Tower is a tall building that may be seen in the Southbank neighbourhood of Melbourne, Victoria. It is one of the highest buildings in Australia, and it currently holds the status of being the third tallest skyscraper in the country.

The Eureka tower is the second tallest skyscraper in Australia when measured solely from the base to the roof of the building. It was the tallest residential tower in the world until the completion of Dubai’s Ocean Heights and the HHHR Tower.

On October 11, 2006, the Eureka Tower was officially opened to the general public for the first time. 2002 marked the beginning of construction, and the exterior of the skyscraper was not completed until June of 2006.

Melbourne Skydeck Entry TicketThe Eureka Skydeck is an observation deck that is located on the 88th floor of the building. In just one minute and forty seconds, the lift will transport you to the top of the tower that is 297 metres high. You will be treated to a breathtaking panorama of Melbourne if you take in the city from this vantage point.

Directly below the tower, you will be able to see the river promenades, the Arts Centre, Federation Square, and the railway facilities. In St. Kila, you not only enjoy a view of the Central Business District, but also of the harbour facilities and the beach.

Discover Melbourne’s most notable sites and attractions from above with the use of complimentary, compact binoculars that are pointed in the direction of specific points of interest. You are able to step outdoors onto the viewing terrace and experience the wind at this elevation. If you are interested in going even higher, there is a restaurant located on the 89th story of the building.

A cube called “the Edge” that protrudes from the building’s exterior is also located on the Skydeck observation platform. With the click of a button, the floor transforms into a see-through surface, allowing you to observe what is beneath your feet.

Best time to visit

It is recommended that you visit the Skydeck in the late afternoon or early evening, just before sunset, because you will be able to appreciate the view both during the day and at night, when the city is illuminated.
