Attraction: Barossa Valley
The Barossa Valley, in South Australia, is a renowned wine-producing area northeast of Adelaide. The area includes towns like Tanunda, Angaston and Nuriootpa, as well as a number of high-profile wineries offering tours and cellar-door degustations. The local speciality is that of Shiraz grapes. The region-wide stone cottages and Lutheran churches are testimony to a flood of German immigrants from the 19th century.
