Adelaide Botanical Gardens

The Adelaide Botanical Gardens is a 51-hectare public garden situated in Adelaide Park Lands, in the north-east corner of Adelaide city centre. It includes a fenced garden on North Terrace, and the Botanic Park behind it. Work on the site began in 1855, with its official public opening on 4 October 1857.
