Fussen

Füssen is a small town in Bavaria in Germany, located just north of the Austrian border. Hohes Schloss contains a regional art museum within its castle, a style which is characteristic of German medieval architecture. The violin and lute museum of St. Mang’s abbey focuses on Füssen’s violin and lute making industry. Both of these other Bavarian castles, the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, are located southeast of the town. Tegelberg Mountain, located not far from here, has a ski resort, a panoramic cable car, and an alpine slide.
